SPATZ+P500 Precision Micro Welding Power Supply

The SPATZ+P500 is the resistance welding power supply for precision micro welding applications in the medical and electronic fields.

Due to marginal voltage ripple the innovative power supply without IGBT and weld transformer enables precise weld processes from 10 A to 500 A. A simple 100 - 240 V socket suffices as power supply. Additional cooling is not needed.

The integrated SPATZHF controller supports weld programs with Constant Current Control (CCC), Constant Power Control (CPC) and Constant Voltage Control (CVC) modes. Polarity switching of output voltage within the weld can be adjusted to compensate thermo-electric effects (e.g. Peltier effect) when welding dissimilar materials.

Curve display of process signals like weld current, electrode voltage, power, electrode force and electrode penetration provides all relevant information about the welding process. For programming of SPATZ+P500 and weld data analysis the following software tools are separately available:

SPATZStudio: Further detailed information is available for the maintenance via notebook and the USB-interface.

SPATZStudioNET: Integration and crosslinking of welding systems with a line PC by Ethernet with full online functionality.

The recorded weld data and graphic visualization of measured values and tendencies are valuable tools for operating and maintenance personnel to ensure weld spot quality.
