The position essentially comprises
- the adaptation, extension and documentation of a GUI component library developed by us
- the creation and further development of desktop apps for analysis and programming of our devices

The tasks require
- Experience in object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of C# and XAML
- Fluent handling of Visual-Studio as development environment

The following would also be useful
- Basics in MVVM
- Knowledge in hardware-related programming in C
- Experience with version management tools like TFS, GIT or similar

mainly for hardware related firmware

With good knowledge of C/C++, object-oriented programming and version management Git, TFS or similar.

Experience in programming FPGAs as well as basic knowledge of C#, VHDL and Assembler are also desirable.

University (Uni), University of Applied Sciences (FH) or Trainee ship (Ausbildung) - the degree is secondary for us.

Training

In the area of training, we take our social responsibility for younger people serious by offering them the possibility of a qualified training as an electronics technician specializing in devices and systems and as an industrial mechanic specializing in mechanical and plant engineering.

Successful training means exchanging ideas, further training and active participation in training committees. Matuschek Messtechnik GmbH increases the quality of its training programs through cooperation with the RWTH Aachen University (Rheinisch Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen). In addition, trainers are actively involved in examination boards and contribute their experience to the company's training concept.

Tasks

  • You will support developers in the realization of orders. This can be the creation of circuits, after the specified functions have been determined and analyzed.
  • You will produce samples and unique pieces. To do this, you select mechanical, electrical and electronic components, adapt them and assemble them into systems; install programs and set them up for their application; test devices and create device documentation.
  • You will create layouts and production documents.
  • You will place and coordinate orders for the procurement of components, auxiliary materials and operating resources for the realization of internal and external customer orders.
  • You will plan and control production processes and organize group work.
  • You set up, program, optimize and maintain production and testing machines.
  • You participate in the analysis and optimization of production processes.
  • You will test components and equipment and repair them.
  • You will also work with English-language documents and communicate in English.

Training Concept

At the beginning of the training, knowledge and manual activities in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering are imparted. The skills acquired in the basic training are gradually deepened in the further course of training in individual departments. Here a four-week supervision by qualified skilled workers takes place. The selected areas can also be passed through several times during the training period. Individual project work, training structures or preparation for examinations repeatedly lead the trainees to work directly with the training manager.

We regard the premise of integrating trainees into our production process, also with regard to the development of responsible behaviour, as an important part of our training concept. Here, they are given a qualification which is of essential importance for their later entry into the profession.

Tasks

  • Industrial mechanics work in the field of mechanical and plant engineering manufacture components using manual and mechanical production methods. They are responsible for the operational readiness of the tools and machine tools required for this.
  • You will plan and organize all work processes for the processing of a production order. You will test and present different solution variants and compare their economic efficiency.
  • You will assemble and disassemble components, assemblies and systems to form functional units. For this purpose, components are adapted and joined together by combining different manufacturing processes.
  • You will design the order processing under consideration of safety, business and ecological aspects. You will coordinate with upstream and downstream operating areas.
  • You will maintain, inspect and improve machines and systems or repair them. You will document the necessary measures.
  • You will obtain information for order processing, evaluate it and carry out the task taking into account technical developments and safety-relevant specifications.

Training Concept

At the beginning of the training, the basic knowledge and basic skills of a mechanical apprenticeship are taught. Subsequently, the basics of electrical engineering are taught in a course. The qualifications acquired up to this point represent the basic training in this profession. Building on this, further training content is taught by experienced skilled workers in the mechanical workshop on modern machines. In this phase, integrated, practice-oriented project work serves to promote the trainee's independent and responsible actions.

We prepare trainees for parts 1 and 2 of the final examination in collaboration with renowned cooperation partners.
